Bill Clinton's Creative Marriage Proposal To Hillary

What a fascinating marriage proposal this was. In Clinton's own words, on purchasing the house that Hillary liked he said to her; "Remember that little house you liked so much? I bought it. You have to marry me now, because I can't live there alone." H then took her to see the house.

Hillary just had to say "yes" finally. See page 233 of paperback edition.

How Bill Clinton Got Hillary To Marry Him

Bill Clinton had to buy a house to get Hillary to marry him and stay in Arkansas. That sounds like a bad thing, but Clinton describes it well in page 233 and the whole episode was rathe romantic because one day as he was driving his future wife to the airport, she made a passing remark how beautiful a house they passed was. On his way back from the airport Bill Clinton had a good look at it and somehow found the cash to make a big enough downpayment to get the monthly mortgage payments down to $174.

PR No Longer Carries The Weight It Used To With Google

Many people don't know it yet, but page rank or PR no longer carries the weight it used to with search engines. What has actually happened is that link popularity has taken its' place and has become a lot more important in the algorithm of leading search engines like Google.

There are a number of ways to increase link popularity. There is link baiting for example, which involves attracting links through unique and popular site content. Blogs are a very powerful and effective way to increase link popularity. One technique is to get thousands of blogs to link to your site.

The popular Blogitive program was created for this very purpose. Blogitive currently has thousands of Blogs within its network and is growing substantially every day. Through Blogitive you can submit a web release (mini press release) to these Bloggers and they will write about your release and link to your website in any manner you want, including any URL and any keyword phrase. Blogitive has proven to be extremely effective in increasing link popularity and is also very cost effective.

Clinton And The Vietnam War

One of the courageous things that former President Bill Clinton did was to consistently oppose the war in Vietnam, and he started doing so long before most Americans really knew what was going in 'Nam.

Starting from page 117 of the paperback edition, he describes in great detail how things strated moving very fast in 1968 as the nation awakened to what was really going on as major events like the Tet offensive

The Year 1968 And Robert Kennedy's Role In Helping To End American Involvement in Vietnam

From page 119 Clinton says that he had a lot of inside information as to what was going on with Robert Kennedy's campaign against the war and for the presidency because his housemate Tommy Caplan was working in Kennedy's office.

Clinton's perspective is fascinating and will no doubt help many historians to get new details as to the workings at the time within the Robert Kennedy campaign for the presidency.
