Rabin assassination and Clinton
The assassination of Yitzhak Rabin the Israeli prime minister, by a radical Jewish student, Yigal Amir, sent shock waves all over the world. Amongst those who were greatly affected was then American President Bill Clinton who had been with Rabin just 10 days earlier in the United States. Clinton describes his feelings about this incident on page 678 of the paperback edition of My Life.
